You can’t access the entire park until usually after 4th of July. Too much snow. But the wait is worth it. Late July to early August at the main lodge at Paradise, call first and find out when the wildflowers are blooming. Then hike one of the trails above the lodge. Easy hike and the mountain and wildflowers are spectacular.
Also, equally impressive are the wildflowers on Hurricane Ridge. Olympic National Park, same time of year. Olympics are on the Olympic Penninsula out of Port Angeles, Washington.
